This is a nonsense comment. Basketball is really a game of statistics and probabilities! The bottom line is that each team will only have so many chances of shooting the ball. It's not nearly enough that Simmons be able to make some shots at long distances, he needs to be able to shoot above average. Otherwise, it will be better off to let other players shoot the ball and Simmons back to attacking the rim! Losing Redick will really hurt the Sixers this season, IMO. They don't really have any reliable shooter now (except may be Mike Scott, a bench player). They really need to capitalize on their heights (tallest team, average starter height is over 6'9") in the new season.... |
